WHO Eastern Mediterranean Office 5 March confirmed no cases of COVID-19 in the Syrian Arab Republic

The World Health Organization has confirmed that there has been no case of coronavirus — COVID-19 — in the Syrian Arab Republic. The WHO works with Syria’s Ministry of Health on a daily basis to “ensure that preparedness measures are taken for the disease.”
