The bloody conflict in Syria has reached a third year – and yet some European nations want to pour more weapons into the crisis-torn country. EU Foreign Ministers will look at the possibility of lifting an arms embargo on Syria next week, after France and Britain made a major push to put more guns into the hands of anti-Assad forces.
