Syrian Arab Army (SAA) continues military operations in many provinces of Syria.

The units of the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) have continued its military operations against different terrorist groups in many provinces of Syria yesterday. In these continued mop-up operations and the relevant clashes by the Syrian Army units against the armed terrorist groups in several Syrian provinces, the units of the Syrian military were able to inflict heavy losses upon the terrorist groups and also upon the groups of armed jihadists and Islamists with deep links to the terrorist organization of Al-Qaeda.

According to the reports about the recent military operations of the units of the Syrian Army in the different provinces of Syria, the Syrian soldiers were able to kill dozens of foreign-backed terrorists yesterday. Further, many gatherings and dens of the terrorists were destroyed in the operations against this foreign-supported terrorism in Syria.

In the countryside of Syria’s capital Damascus (Rif Dimashq / Reef Damascus), the operative units of the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) were able to seize several Israeli-made weapons after they have successfully eliminate some terrorists and destroyed their tens in the area.

According to the information from a source of the Syrian military, the units of the Syrian Army were able to kill a number of terrorists in clashes that have erupted after the terrorist group tried to attack a checkpoint of the Syrian Army in the area of Shaqhab, located in the countryside of Damascus. The foreign-backed terrorists were not able to occupy the military checkpoint near Shaqhab, instead, most of the members of this terrorist group were killed in the clashes against the units of the Syrian Army.

The military source also said that the weapons of the terrorists were seized after the killing of many of them and that the weapons were partly Israeli-made and among the arms of the terrorists were rifles, RPG rounds, and explosive devices.

Not only the military operations in the countryside of Syria’s capital Damascus were mainly a success yesterday, but also the mop-up operations by the units of the Syrian Army in the area of the strategically important city of Aleppo (Halab) were successful. After several groups of armed terrorists tried to penetrate into already safe areas in the region of the Syrian city of Aleppo, the operative units of the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) were able to foil these attempts by the foreign-backed terrorist groups and killed and injured a number of these terrorists in the clashes against them.

Several terrorists’ gatherings and hideouts in the area of the Central Prison of Aleppo (Halab) and the al-Kindi Hospital were destroyed in military operations by the Syrian forces yesterday. In addition, further gatherings and hideouts of the armed terrorist groups were destroyed in other areas of the countryside of Aleppo – for example, the units of the Syrian Army have successfully destroyed hideouts of the terrorists and some Al-Qaeda-linked jihadists in the Syrian towns of Bayanoon, Deirhafer, and al-Mansoura in Aleppo countryside.

Other units of the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) have attacked armed terrorists and several Islamists of the Syrian Al-Qaeda offshoots such as the al-Nusra Front (Jabhat al-Nusra) in the areas of Khan al-Assal (Khan al-Asal), al-Widihi, al-Bab, al-Nairab (Camp), and al-Sheikh Saeed. Also on the road of Deir-Hafer-Hamima, several terrorists were eliminated in the recent attacks against them by the Syrian Army.

Scores of armed terrorists were eliminated in the Syrian towns of al-Jadida, RAsm al-Abboud, and Kweris, also in the countryside of the strategically important Syrian city of Aleppo (Halab). After the elimination of many terrorists in the areas of these Syrian towns, several rocket launcher pads and mortar launchers of the dead terrorists were destroyed by the Syrian soldiers.

Two vehicles loaded with many arms and ammunition and further vehicles equipped with heavy machineguns were destroyed by the units of the Syrian Army in the regions of the Syrian towns of Kifrkar and Banan al-Hus. On the outskirts of al-Ashrafiyeh, the Syrian soldiers were able to eliminate some armed terrorists yesterday. The neighbourhood of al-Ashrafiyeh is a part of Aleppo.

After the elimination of these foreign-supported terrorists on the outskirts of al-Ashrafiyeh, the Syrian army has destroyed several heavy machineguns and further weapons of the dead terrorists. A further between Syrian soldiers and foreign-backed terrorists fight took place in Salah Eddin yesterday. This group of gunmen tried to infiltrate the neighbourhood of Salah Eddin (Aleppo), but the Syrian Army was able to kill some of these terrorists in their attempt to infiltrate in the Salah Eddin neighbourhood.

In the province of Deir ez-Zor (Dayr al-Zawr / Der Ezzor / Deir Ezzor) in the East of Syria, the operative units of the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) were able to kill a lot of Al-Qaeda-linked terrorists in the battles from yesterday. According to the information, the most of the killed jihadists belonged to the Al-Qaeda-linked “The Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant” (ISIL), which is recently more and more involved in armed infightings against e.g. the US-backed criminals of the so-called “Free Syrian Army” (FSA).

In many areas of Deir ez-Zor (Dayr al-Zawr / Der Ezzor / Deir Ezzor), several hideouts of the terrorists and Islamists were also destroyed in the recent military operations by the Syrian Army units. For example, in the Syrian town of Jdeidat Ekeidat, some terrorists and their hideout were eliminated yesterday.

Some armed terrorists tried to attack the residents of the neighbourhood of al-Muwathafeen yesterday. However, the local unit of the Syrian Army was able to defend the residents of al-Muwathafeen and killed all members of the attacking group of terrorists.

Further armed terrorists and jihadists were killed after an explosive device went off in the neighbourhood of al-Orfi, also a part of the city of Deir ez-Zor. The explosive device was planted by these terrorists. However, they made a mistake and the explosive device went off while it was planted in the neighbourhood of al-Orfi (Deir Ezzor city).

  1. can anyone tell me, how much area is in syrian governement control and how much is in terrorist control, i mean percent wise

    • Syed, in Syria this does not matter much, most of Syria’s land is desert without any strategic interest, what counts in this warfare is the control of vital cities, meaning key ones such as Damascus (which by itself is huge with the adjacents cities to the great Damascus area), Aleppo, Idleb, Homs, Hamas, Der Ezzor, Latakia etc… some smaller but with strategic importance as Al Qusayr, Daraya etc… Last but not least is the key importance of the main roads airfields, since these are where supplies are moved and brought in, so controlling the key roads and airfields are vital. There zones within most of these cities that it seems the war is far from it, while few kilometers the hell is breaking loose. So it is a tough question that has no answer to it.
