Syria News Shorts from Last Few Days

syria

Over the last two days, reports on Syria have hit in staccato fashion. Though each short report could produce doctoral dissertations in analyses, the most significant of these short needs to be preserved, lest they get buried under a potential future avalanche.

7 July, Vladimir Putin and Donald J. Trump held a two-hour private meeting that had the neo-left and neo-neocons again picking up their little gang v. countergang badminton game: Neo-left claiming evidence of Trump being mesmerized by Putin, neo-neocons cheering the prowess of both Trump and Putin.  The outcome was the announcement that the two had decided to impose a ceasefire on Syria.  As this puts them both in a good diplomatic light (or a bad one, depending on the ‘team’), ignored by msm is the fact that Syria already had in place a cessation of hostilities (CoH) in Daraa, Quneitra, and Sweida

Though ‘ceasefire’ is a more dramatic word, it actually only applies to declared war, by warring parties — not to dozens of takfiri factions armed by NATO & Gulfie underlings and deployed to slaughter Syrians

8 July, Sputnik issued a cryptic report that Russia and Israel have reached a breakthrough on de-escalation zones in Syria.  No details were offered.

Sputnik reported on ‘breakthrough’ between Russia and Israel on Syria

Around the same time, H.E. Bashar al Ja’afari reported that in Astana, “we are still discussing mechanisms of implementing the de-escalization zones agreement” (and Tillerson is using improper language of “no fly zones”).

On 22 September 2015, prior to Russia being invited into Syria, RT reported that “Russia and Israel agree to  ‘more honest’ exchange of information on Syria.” There was no similar agreement of exchange of information on Israel, with Syria.

As readers of SyriaNews know, Israel provided the first air force for al Qaeda in the SAR, criminally bombing the republic approximately 30 times since 2013, always coming to the rescue of the terrorists whenever they were in trouble. Israel has also provided state of the art medical care to wounded terrorists, on the occupied Golan, and also in Israeli hospitals.

Little known, though, is that several years ago, the IDF was studying the Nazi methods in an effort to deal with the ‘Palestinian problem.’  The report was in Hebrew, and soon went through the Orwellian memory shredder.  It now appears that Israel has plans to apply certain Nazi techniques, specifically the Judenrat on the occupied Golan.

As the Sputnik announcement offers no details on the ‘breakthrough,’ it is essential that we share a post from SANA, also dated 8 July, in its entirety:

Syria rejects Israeli occupation’s announcement of holding “local councils” elections in occupied Syrian Golan

Damascus, SANA – The Foreign and Expatriate Ministry affirmed that Syria categorically rejects the announcement by the Israeli occupation on holding elections of the so-called “local councils” on October 2018 in the villages of the occupied Syrian Golan, stressing that the Golan is an integral part of the Syrian territory and that it will return to the motherland sooner or later.

In letters to the UN Secretary General and the Head of the Security Council, the Ministry said that the Israeli entity has recently issued new resolutions related to holding elections of the so-called local councils in the villages of the occupied Syrian Golan according to Israeli law.

The Ministry pointed out that these Israeli actions come as no surprise because Israel has been investing in the crisis in Syria through its support to the armed terrorist groups which was clear since the beginning of the events in Syria.

The letters noted that the Syrian Arab citizens of the occupied Golan have rejected in the national document which they had issued on 25/3/1981 any decision issued by the Israeli entity to annex the Golan as well as their rejection of all Israeli decisions aimed at depriving them of their Syrian Arab identity.

The Ministry indicated that the fifth paragraph of the aforementioned document provided that they do not recognize any group of the so-called local councils and that the heads and the members of these councils do not represent them, and that they made an irrevocable decision to reject the imposition of the Israeli identity on them, adding that after they learned the new Israeli decision, the people of the Golan renewed their vehement rejection of these Israeli measures.

The letters went on to say that Israel, which refused to comply with International legitimacy over the past years and rebelled against its decisions to end the occupation of the Syrian Arab Golan, has repeated this rebellion by issuing this new decision.

The Ministry pointed out that the Security Council affirmed in its resolution no. 497 that the Israeli decision to impose its law, authority, and administration in the occupied Syrian Golan is null , void, and without international legal power, adding that the Security Council demanded that Israel annul its decision immediately and declared that all provisions of the Geneva Convention on the Protection of Civilian Persons in the Time of War are still in effect in the Syrian territory occupied by Israel since June 1967.

The letters asserted that the new Israeli decisions constitute another flagrant violation of the UN Charter, international humanitarian law, and the Geneva Convention.

The Ministry went on to say that Syria calls upon the UN Secretary-General and the Security Council to condemn these new provocative Israeli measures that blatantly violate the Security Council resolution 497, demanding that the Council force Israel to release Syrian and Palestinian captives from Israeli jails, including Sedqi al-Maqet, who has spent more than 30 years in Israeli jails.

The Ministry concluded by saying that Syria categorically rejects the new Israeli decision and that it reiterates that the Golan is an integral part of Syrian territory and will return to the homeland sooner or later, stressing its commitment to standing by its people in the occupied Golan who reject the annexation and this new decision.

As various factions of terrorist FSA offspring are currently engaged in literal fratricide, the terrorists in suits of the NCSROF are suddenly having a meltdown over reports that the US foreign mercenary gang illegally in Syria, the HSD is now stealing homes of Syrians in Raqqa, and creating a forced displacement of dozens of civilians, under threat of this foreign militia.  The State Department adored NCSROF had no similar concern when their adored FSA stole homes of Syrian civilians in Aleppo, blew holes in the walls of these homes, trashed this homes.

Pity virtually everyone gave legitimacy to the US mercenary militia, calling it a ‘Syrian rebel group,’ instead of acknowledging it as the foreign invaders that it actually is.

Also in the news are the violent rioters in Germany, attacking police, setting fires, looting, and sometimes having water cannons turned on them. Surprisingly, western media has not suggested that these moderate rebels should be supplied with anti-aircraft and anti-tank missiles to take down the evil dictators.

Double, colonialist standards of the West

Again, no matter what western media, allies, enemies, and affiliated media may report, this and only this is the flag of the Syrian Arab Republic:

Not the Azeri language HSD flag, not the flag of French Mandate occupation, only this is Syria’s flag

SyriaNews will resume in-depth reporting and analyses next week.  In preparation for the breakthrough details and the manipulative impending news, we recommend self-protection via a reading of UNSCR 2254: The Devil is in the Detail, a look at the UN’s colonialist dictation that it wants to be imposed upon Syria.

Read it, and try to imagine what your reaction would be if other countries thought they had the right to force a new constitution down your throat (including a country that does not even have its own constitution), to demand new elections, and to demand the right to  ‘monitor’ your elections to make sure they turn out they way the foreigners demand.
