The British Home Office intelligence chief Charles Farr has warned the leadership that the plan to arm the militants and jihadists in Syria could backfire because Britain would just give weapons in the hands of the same militants and Islamists who also want to attack the United Kingdom and this is a fact.
British Home Office intelligence chief Charles Farr made this statement recently about the plans of the British government to deliver weapons and ammunition to the gunmen and militants in Syria.
After the revelations that Britain, as well as, for example, the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) in the United States, supports the armed jihadist and terrorist groups in Syria, the Home Office intelligence chief Charles Farr probably could not be silent anymore and warned about this cooperation with religious fanatics, who would also attack the United Kingdom immediately if they would had a chance.
Home Office intelligence chief Charles Farr warned that there have never been so many groups of terrorists, jihadists and extremists so close to Europa and that these al-Qaeda-inspired militants, not only in Syria, are a threat.
The British Home Office intelligence chief Charles Farr said to the National Security Conference in London that the groups in Syria aspire to also attack Europe. Charles Farr added in his statement that both would have the means and capability to do so and this includes the foreign fighters and jihadists who are returning from Syria to Europe, of course.
Charles Farr especially fears the foreign-backed militants fighting in Syria who have a British passport. He said, that they probably return to the United Kingdom or already have and that they might have the intentions of organizing violence and acts of terrorism in the country.
The statements by British Home Office intelligence chief Charles Farr were made after the British intelligence officials stated that there are, at least, 100 militants with British citizenship either fighting against the government of the Syrian President Bashar al-Assad or have already returned to the UK.
According to some sources on ground as well as to the typical reports by newspapers, many of these militants and jihadists have already joined the al-Qaeda-linked terrorist group Jabhat al-Nusra, which is probably supported by the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) in the United States.
Some experts of the topics in the Middle East think that Britain’s controversial policies in the countries of this region, like Syria or Afghanistan, disrupts the safety of the United Kingdom and this is certainly true.
