Syrian Army eliminated a huge number of terrorists across the Arab nation.

At this weekend, the units of the Syrian Arab army (SAA) were able to kill a huge number of foreign-backed terrorists across Syria and to carry out further successful military operations in several regions of the Arab nation.

According to the information given by officials of the Syrian military, the military operations across Syria against the armed terrorist groups on Syrian soil were very successful at the last weekend.

The officials of the Syrian army stated that the units of the national army, which consists of all parts of the Syrian society, have killed scores of foreign-supported terrorists at this weekend. Among the eliminated terrorists and Islamists on Syrian soil were a large number of foreign nationals this time and not only some armed foreign nationals that have been killed in the clashes by the Syrian army against the foreign-supported terrorist groups, but many fighters from other countries between the ranks of these terrorists and jihadists brigades.

In addition, the units of the Syrian Arab army (SAA) have not only eliminated a huge number of the armed terrorists at this weekend, but the troops were also able to gain some ground in several regions of Syria. In addition, the Syrian soldiers have seized many weapons after the mainly successful battles against the terrorist groups in the last two days.

According to official reports by the Syrian state news agency SANA, the mop-up operations by the Syrian army in the north-western province of Syria’s Idlib (Idleb) has led to the death of many terrorists within the last two days. In addition, a larger number of terrorists was wounded during the clashes with the Syrian forces in several towns and villages in the northwest of Idlib.

Several terrorist dens were destroyed in the areas of Jabal al-Arbaain, Kefr Rohin, al-Hebat, al-Qeniyeh, and al-Janoudiyeh, all located in the Syrian province of Idlib (Idleb). After the successful military operations of the Syrian army, the soldiers have destroyed the weapons and ammunition of the eliminated terrorists in this region of Syria’s Idlib. In addition, a unit of the Syrian Arab army (SAA) has successfully failed an attempt of a group of terrorists to detonate two explosive devices in the Syrian village of al-Mastoumeh. According to the information by a Syrian official, both explosive devices have each weighed about 50 kilograms.

The Syrian Arab army has not only carried out successful military operations on the north-western region of the province of Idlib (Idleb), but also in the south-western province of the Syrian city of Daraa. In these operations by the Syrian army in Daraa, several armed terrorists have been killed and injured. According to the information given by a source from the Syrian military, the army units were able to kill “scores of terrorists” in the Syrian province of Daraa at the last weekend.

The military operations in the south-western region of Daraa were carried out in or near the Syrian villages and towns of Saida, al-Hanout, Sahem al-Golan, al-Basala, al-Abdaleh, Tasil, al-Kseibeh, Tafas, and Tasil.

In addition, during the clashes between the Syrian army and the foreign-supported terrorist groups in Daraa, also several foreign nationals in the ranks of the terrorist and jihadist brigades have been killed. The foreign nationals came from (according to the information of seized documents) the totalitarian dictatorship Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Tunisia, Libya, and also from Jordan.

Further military operations by units of the Syrian Arab army (SAA) were carried out in and around the Syrian capital Damascus at the last weekend. These cleansing operations and clashes have led to the death of several armed terrorists.

Well done, SAA! Judging from the reportage, and various pictures and videos, it appears that the guerillas are not receiving combat experienced replacements, although I’d be curious to know the ages of the Kuwaitis. I’m sure that Kuwait has combat veterans in its population, but since Kuwait is what appears to be a secular monarchy, I wonder how many of their combat vets would volunteer for the Syria operations. Hmm. I doubt many, if any. I am not surprised that I don’t see many Iraqis noted either. I’d guess that they are more interested in exterminating the rats in Iraq than they are in joining the rats in Syria. From the pictures and videos I’ve seen, the guerillas appear to be mostly fairly young guys, undoubtedly bamboozled with all sorts of BS. Each group probably has two or three experienced men who have to wear the FNGs like a hair shirt, try to provide on the job training, and get burned down with ’em when SAA shows up, or they run into NDF or Kurds. In combat, do overs are extremely rare, and a single dummy can get everybody killed. How much better it would be if those young guys would just stay home, find a steady job, get married and raise families. SAA is doing a very good job. My hat’s off to them.

    MK, thanks for the map!

SAA is getting momentum and has now to push harder to clean once and forever Homs and then move to clean Idlib and Aleppo.
MK, any news on the terrorist attempt to attack Latakia on Sunday ?
Thank you for what you are doing, I appreciated a lot, following closely the events in Syria from Brazil.

    Hi, Canthama;

SAA is doing just fine. Urban warfare is slow, dangerous and dirty work; it’s not at all difficult to allow your enthusiasm to outpace your battle skills. Usually the attacking force develops a rhythm, sort of, that works best for that unit, resulting in more enemy KIA and fewer friendly casualties. Replacements have to become familiar with unit tactics, which takes some time, plus some of the experienced veterans get pulled out as cadre for new units (or ‘teams’, more accurately), so the rhythm is always adjusting, but never ceases. Looking at their areas of operation I’d have to say that I don’t envy SAA their task, with multi-story apartment buildings on very narrow streets, there’s not much room to maneuver, no room at all for error, and forget about do overs. Since they’re successfully prosecuting offensive operations in a hideous battle environment, ‘make haste slowly’ seems to work very well for them. They have the additional factor of a noncombatant population in the same buildings as the guerillas are occupying; I’ve noticed that SAA is extremely careful to avoid civilian casualties whenever possible, which cuts their speed of advance by a fairly large margin, and costs SAA casualties as well.

SAA can thank God that they don’t have to deal with a hostile population (“No VC. No VC here”), the population, even in Homs, being friendly. I’ve seen videos where local citizens are pinpointing guerilla positions for the army. There are a LOT of Syrian moms and dads who can thank local citizens that their boy is alright, at the end of any given day.

No, SAA is doing just fine. As more urban warfare combat teams are trained, and come into the battle zone, the momentum should pick up, as a natural consequence.

Note to SAA: get on with the rat killin’.
