Power Plant

Syria, Damascus: Repair work starts on the power plants.

The situation is still tense in the industrial block between the areas of Kabun (Qaboun) and Jobar of the Syrian capital, Damascus. According to a correspondent from Press TV, the situation remains tense in the industrial block, which separates Jobar and Kabun (Qaboun) of Damascus, although the repair work has now started to finally repair the damaged power plants that were damaged by the attacks of the foreign-backed terrorist groups in the area.

The Syrian Arab army (SAA) has regained the control of the area in Kabun and Jobar of Damascus, where the main power plants of Syria are located. Further, units of the Syrian army are still carrying out military operation in this area near the Syrian capital of Damascus in order to gain more grounds and to retake the nearby region. However, the repair works on the main power plants in the industrial block that separates Jobar and Kabun (Qaboun) areas of the capital Damascus has started and it is to hope that the repair work of Syria’s main power plants happens without incidents.

One is only able to reach the area of the industrial block, which separates Kabun and Jobar of Damascus, by a secured path that leads through a maze of hoses and holes between the abandoned plants. After the units of the Syrian army were able to recapture the main warehouse of the electricity establishment near the capital Damascus, which was taken over by the foreign-supported terrorists in July, the repair works on the electricity establishment and the main power plants of the Arab nation has started.

The armed terrorist groups who occupied the area of the electricity establishment near the capital Damascus had damaged the machinery and buildings in the warehouse as well as the power plants. The Syrian army units recaptured the main warehouse and the area with the main power plants. However, the situation remains tense in the areas of Jobar and Kabun (Qaboun) near the capital, Damascus.

The units of the Syrian Arab army (SAA) entered the compound that separates Kabun (Qaboun) and Jobar areas of Damascus through various entrances and were able to eliminate a large number of armed terrorists, while others were injured or pushed back to the area of Jobar in the clashes of the army units against the armed terrorist groups. According to an army officer from the Syrian military, there is only one building in the parameter which is still under the control of the terrorists now.

However, the Syrian army officer also stated in a short interview with the correspondent of Press TV, that the Syrian forces broke the backbone of the terrorists by gaining the control of this establishment near the capital, Damascus.

Shortly after the Syrian army units had regained the control over the area with the main power plants of Syria, the repair works were started in order to bring back a more stable electricity network for the Syrian people.

Shadi Suleiman, an electricity worker there, said to the correspondent of Press TV, that they are from the general electricity department of Damascus and that armed men have sabotaged several of the offices and devices in this area near Damascus. He confirmed that they are trying to repair the devices and power plants now and added as last sentence that the area is now secured due to the Syrian army units and thanked the Syrian soldiers.

The area of the industrial block that separates the areas of Kabun (Qaboun) and Jobar of Damascus is not the last area near the Syrian capital which will be recaptured by the Syrian Arab army (SAA). The upcoming military operations will eliminate the last armed terrorist groups in the area near the Syrian capital and as it is reported from the Syrian provinces of Idlib and Lattakia (Latakia), the military operations in these provinces of Syria are also successful so far.

In addition, it seems that a military offensive has started by several units of the Syrian Arab army (SAA) in Syria’s province of Idlib (Idleb).
