Syrian president Dr. Bashar Al-Assad, and as accustomed on each occasion, performs Eid Adha prayers in Mrs. Hassiba Mosque in Dummar suburb of Damascus, the Syrian capital early today.
Surrounded by citizens and received by officials, the Syrian president performed the prayers and exchanged greetings with the worshipers at the mosque, the prayer was headed and the Eid sermon was preached by Dr. Muhammad Tawfiq Ramadan al-Bouti, the son of martyr top Islam scholar Dr. Muhammad Saeed Ramadan al-Bouti and head of the Levant Scholars Union.
The sermon emphasized on the greatness of Islam, the religion of knowledge and civilization, which calls for worshiping God with wisdom and good instructions and to argue with the disbelievers in a way that is the best, as the holy Quran clearly orders in Surat An-Naĥl, verse 16:125. The great religion of Islam that preaches with good rewards and ease on the people their living hardship not the opposite, as the Hadiths of prophet Muhammad peace be upon him clearly instructs.
The Syrian president’s public appearing and mingling with his own people comes as continuing refutes to all of what western mainstream media and officials and their regional stooges were struggling to paint a picture of him. He’s the protector of his people and not ‘their killer’ from the real killers of the Syrians and not their protectors, the ‘humanitarian bastards’.
The following video clip shows side of the prayers and the warm feelings the Syrian president exchange with his people, unlike the second part of the video clip captured from one of the ‘activists’ YouTube channels which supposed to show the worshipers in the same mosque ‘rioting’ and ‘protesting’ against the Syrian leader in June 2012. If God Brings Peace then we should be loving one another not killing because of Religious Reasons.
