Syria: Army Continues Military Operations in Aleppo and Maaloula

Syrian Arab Army

Syrian Army continues operations in Douma, Jobar, Aleppo and other regions of Syria.

While the battles between the units of the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) against the Al-Qaeda-linked terrorist groups in and around the historic Christian village of Maaloula are still ongoing and the Syrian forces were already able to retake the control of parts of the Christian village in the north of Damascus, other units of the Syrian Army have continued their military operations against the foreign-backed terrorists in other regions of the Arab country.

The field progress and the military operations against the foreign-supported terrorists by the units of the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) continued in the strategically important city of Aleppo (Halab), but also in Douma as well as in the Christian village of Maaloula and the region around the ancient mountain village in the north of the capital, Damascus.

According to the reports from the battlefields in Syria, the units of the Syrian Army have killed a large number of terrorists and jihadists in the recent mop-up operations in the country. The Syrian forces have also destroyed a large amount of weapons of the terrorists and several dens, which were used by the foreign-backed terrorist groups in some areas of the Arab country.

In the Southwest of the Christian village of Maaloula (Ma’loula), a unit ot the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) was able to kill a terrorist leader of a group that is linked to the al-Nusra Front. The so-called al-Nusra Front (Jabhat al-Nusra) is among the so-called Syrian Al-Qaeda offshoots fighting on Syrian soil against the secular government of President Bashar al-Assad in Damascus in order to support the agenda of Al-Qaeda in Syria. However, the so-called al-Nusra Front was supported by several Western governments and this support with weapons and money by Western countries for the al-Qaeda-affiliated al-Nusra Front in Syria is not so long ago.

The unit of the Syrian Army fighting against the terrorists in the Southwest of the Christian village of Maaloula (Ma’loula) was not only able to kill a jihadist leader but also to eliminate and injure some of his Islamist fighters. Another unit of the Syrian Army has successfully destroyed several dens of the armed terrorists in the areas of the farms in Ras al-Ein as well as in the Syrian town of al-Sarkha, both areas are located in the North of the ancient village of Maaloula.

Meanwhile, several other units of the Syrian armed forces were able to destroy a warehouse of the foreign-backed terrorists in the Eastern area of Ghouta. However, it is reported that other warehouses for the production of explosive devices and some terrorists’ dens were also destroyed by the units of the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) in a string of targeted military operations in the Northern and Southern countryside of Syria’s capital, Damascus.

Further military operations by units of the Syrian army, which consists of all parts of the Syrian society, were carried out in the area of the farms of al-Eb, which are located in Syria’s Douma. The military operations in this area of Douma led to the elimination of a complete group of armed terrorists.

Another group of armed terrorists were eliminated by the Syrian Army in the now already famous area of Jobar, a suburb of the capital Damascus. The Syrian Army units in Jobar have killed a group of terrorists in the neighbourhood of Jobar (in the South of the Teachers’ Tower in this suburb pf the capital), while another unit of the Syrian Army has successfully eliminated several armed terrorists in Barzeh, also a neighbourhood in the capital of Syria.

In addition, also the military operations in and around the strategically important Syrian city of Aleppo (Halab) are continued by the Syrian Arab Army. According to a source of the Syrian military, the units of the national army were able to destroy several cars of the foreign-backed terrorists in the area of Aleppo. The cars of the terrorists, loaded with weapons and ammunition, were destroyed by the Syrian Army units in Bashnatra, al-Mansoura, and Kafr Dael.

Other military operations took place in the neighbourhood of al-Sinaa, which is a part of the Syrian city of Deir Ezzor. The operative units of the Syrian Army in Deir Ezzor were able to kill all members of a terrorist group in the area. The terrorist group was calling itself the “Al-Forat Battalion”. However, the “Al-Forat Battalion” and the armed jihadists of this “battalion” are now history.

Other clashes in and near the city of Deir Ezzor as well as in and around Daraa lead to the destruction of a missiles depot of the foreign-backed terrorists. This missiles depot and several dens of the terrorists were destroyed by Syrian Army units in Daraa, al-Hasaka, and Deir Ezzor due to the continuation of the military operations in this region of Syria.

It seems that the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) has still the upper hand in the battles against the US-backed terrorist forces and the Syrian al-Qaeda offshoots. In case that the foreign governments such as the Obama administration in Washington stops its funding and arming of the terrorists and jihadists forces on Syrian soil, the conflict in Syria would probably end sooner than later.

It is good to hear that SAA is still getting momentum forward, wished they could have wiped out completely the terrorists in Homs, this engagement seems to be taking longer than initially thought after Al Qusayr smashing victory. Cleaning Homs form terrorists would protect SAA back to clean Idlib and then the biggest battle of all which is to clean Aleppo.

Yeah, C. I had to laugh when the ’48 hours’ thing was put forward a while back. SAA is digging the rats out of very dense urban areas, which is a tough job, at best. Well, they are making their way forward and killing rats by wholesale, which is good. SAA and NDF are both becoming expert in urban warfare, and I don’t fault their momentum at all. SAA, NDF, get some!

I still believe in diplomatic resolution on syria question!!! If stoping and blockage of funds and ammunition by d west can make a way out of syria then what is UN waiting for!!!

madu, the UN could care less. None of the pinstriped pogues in New York or Geneva have any skin in the game, so they’re quite willing to talk everyone else into their graves. Congress will not cut funds for al Qaida, despite the broadcast news that the leader of al Qaida is calling for muslims inside the US to commit terrorism within our own borders. If there is a diplomatic solution arrived at, it will only be because Russian and Chinese weapons are locked, cocked, and ready to fire on American targets. Obama has his orders, chika.

UN is waiting for the rebels to win so that Catarrh can get their pipeline under Syria to EU, so that Yisrahellis and yanks can steal your gas, so that Iran can fall next. UN is a bad joke. Luckily the US has lied themselves into a corner. In any case, if they surgical striked, their fleet would be rusting on the Med.floor. Thomas in Phuket, Thailand
