Obama informs Israel: Delay in War Plans against Syria

Middle East, North Africa, sub-Saharan Africa and Central Asia

Saudi Arabia urges US-led war on Syria.

While some officials of the Israeli regime in Tel Aviv have confirmed that US President Barack Obama has informed the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu about the delay in the American war plans against Syria, the Foreign Minister of the totalitarian dictatorship in Saudi Arabia has urged that the US-led war against Syria should finally begin.

However, if one is convinced that Saudi Arabia has nothing to do in an article about the US President Barack Obama and the Israeli regime in Tel Aviv, this opinion is just wrong there are many links, which connect them all.

It is neither a surprise that the Saudi regime in person of the dangerous Saudi Foreign Minister has urged the US-led war on Syria nor that Barack Obama has called the Israeli Prime Minister to inform him about the current state in his administration in terms of the joint war plans on Syria. It would even be no real surprise when Obama also informs Saudi Arabia, too.

Some officials of the Israeli regime confirmed that US President Barack Obama telephoned the Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Saturday. In this telephone call, Obama informed the Israeli regime in person of Netanyahu that he allegedly planned to delay the launch of the military strike on Syria – although the news out of the United States tell something else.

However, it is certain that Barack Obama and Benjamin Netanyahu try to coordinate their next steps in terms of a possible attack on Syria together. This comes, as stated, as no surprise.

According to the current reports, U.S. President Obama has also told the Prime Minister of the Israeli regime that he is going to relegate the topic about an US-led military strike on Syria to the US Congress and this seems as a very logical step by Obama in his current situation in the United States and in terms of the Republicans which are still awaiting a situation to remove Obama from the US administration.

In case that US President Obama would begin a war on Syria without the OK by the majority of the US Congress, there would be a perfect situation for the Republicans to finally remove him – impeachment trial for waging war without the approval by the US Congress. And Obama knows about this, of course. Thus, he will deliver this “Syria topic” to the US Congress and ask for a congressional vote on any military action by Washington against Syria.

In terms of the telephone call by Barack Obama from Saturday, the White House as well as the Israeli Prime Minister’s office in Jerusalem have not confirmed the reports. However, the information comes by several officials of the Israeli regime – at least, according to a report by Haaretz.

In the meantime, there are also some news from Egypt, Algeria and China in regards to the possible US-led military attack on Damascus. Of course, the Chinese administration in Beijing is very concerned about the prospect of a unilateral military attack against Syria by Western military forces.

The Chinese Foreign Ministry said in a statement from today, that it has grave concerns about the current developments in terms of a possible military strike on Syria as well as about the certain dire consequences for the Syrian people and the entire Middle East in the case that US-led forces really start an attack on Damascus.

The Foreign Ministry in Beijing further said in the new statement that no measures should be taken until it is really clear (if anyone) who has used chemical weapons recently in Syria against the Syrian population. Of course, China urges that all sides have to wait for the hopefully objective and independent results of the investigation of the samples from Syria by the United Nations (UN).

The official statement from China, partly made by the spokesperson of the Chinese Foreign Ministry, has yet again called on all sides to find a political solution to the Syrian conflict and, as stated, that the Chinese administration is “gravely concerned that some country may take unilateral military actions.”

The Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesman Hong Lei further told some reporters that Washington has briefed the Chinese side already about the alleged evidence on the use of chemical weapons in Syria and also about the relevant decisions made by the US administration.

However, the Russian administration in Moscow has again stated today that there is no convincing evidence by Washington for their claims against the Syrian governance in Damascus. The Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesman Hong Lei also said that Beijing is opposed to the use of chemical weapons and that China has supported the United Nations (UN) in conducting an independent, objective and impartial investigation.

Meanwhile, also Egypt and Algeria seem to support a peaceful solution to the Syrian crisis and conflict. For example, the Algerian Foreign Minister, Mourad Medelci, said that his country rejects any form of aggression against the Syrian nation.

Algeria’s Foreign Minister, Mourad Medelci, also warned about the certain dire consequences of a military strike against Damascus in his recent speech during the hypocritical meeting of the Arab Foreign Ministers (Arab League / AL) in the Egyptian capital yesterday. The Algerian Minister Medelci is convinced that any military strike on Syria will not solve the Syrian conflict but increase the violence and bloodshed in the Arab country.

The Algerian Foreign Minister has also reiterated that Algeria rejects any kind of military actions against Damascus and even the Egyptian Foreign Minister Nabil Fahmi has announced that Egypt supports a peaceful solution to the conflict in Syria and the plans of another international peace conference in Geneva, which should take place “as soon as possible.”

The Egyptian Foreign Minister further said in his recent statements at the meeting of the hypocritical Arab League (AL) in Cairo that the “aspirations of the Syrian people” can’t be achieved by a war on Syria, but only through a peaceful and political solution. The only solution for Syria is the negotiation between all the sides that are involved in the Syrian conflict.

The Egyptian Foreign Minister Fahmi has then also condemned the use of chemical weapons in Syria by any side.

Back to the Saudi regime and the intense request by the Saudi Foreign Minister for the immediate start of the US-led military strike on Damascus.

The Saudi Foreign Minister Saud al-Faisal, a member of the totalitarian dictatorship in Saudi Arabia, said that his country supports a US-led military strike on Syria and is even ready for the moment when the US-led strike on Damascus will begin. Saudi Foreign Minister Saud al-Faisal urged the Middle Eastern countries to support the demands of the external (and staged) “Syrian opposition” for a war against Syria, according to reports by the Arab newspaper Al-Alam.

However, that a so-called “political opposition” calls for military strikes on the alleged homeland is a very new or at least rare case in history. The Saudi Foreign Minister further called on all Arab states to support a possible war on Damascus because the “international community has to put an end to the bloodbath” in Syria.

However, the most statements by the Saudi regime are just hypocritical phrases as usual. Saudi Arabia supported the terrorists and jihadists fighting in Syria against the secular government and nation since the beginning of the Syrian conflict and just serves the interests of the Israeli regime and Washington. Same applies for the machinations of the Turkish Prime Minister Erdogan in regards of the Syrian conflict and the violence in the neighbouring country.
