Lebanon’s Unreported Ongoing Civil War

Unreported Lebanon Bekaa Valley Brewing Civil War

Under the glossy image of a functioning state in Lebanon, a failed state is already more dominant in the tiny country that witnessed a brutal 15 years civil war which was put to an end by the Syrian Arab Army’s intervention at the request of the legitimate Lebanese government that time and it managed to maintain peace in the country for decades until early 2005.

Sectarian warlords agreed ceasefire was sponsored by Saudi Arabia called Taif Accord which put an end to the political clashes that in reality never faded out especially that the same warlords who fought the civil war with the massive innocent blood of their own citizens on their hands became the leaders of the country without any proper accountability.

The 10400 square kilometers entity with 6 million Lebanese population and some Palestinians living there in inhumane conditions lives under an almost or exceeded US$ 100 billion public debt. mostly due to corruption spearheaded by the same leaders now claiming to fight corruption.

Despite receiving billions of dollars received by Lebanon for its role in destabilizing Syria from the Saudi, Qatari, UAE and other financiers, and billions of others coming from the EU and the UN for placing Syrian refugees in horrible conditions went directly to the pockets of the same culprits and to seduce the Syrian refugees not to return home to be used as a political card against their state, with a very little portion of that amount actually spent on the refugees well-being, if any, let alone addressing the financial situation of the state.

If that’s not alarming by itself, watch this short video taken a couple of days ago in Haour Taala in the underdeveloped Bekaa Valley, it was reported by Lebanese independent MP Retired General Jamil El Sayyed through his Twitter account:

End of last month a dangerous assassination attempt was about to tear apart what’s left of the fragile livable state of security the Lebanese cling on when a former warlord and an Erdogan-like hypocrite politician Walid Junblat forces tried to kill two sitting ministers: Gebran Bassil, the Lebanese president’s Jared Kushner (son in law) and head of the largest Christian bloc in the country along with Saleh Gharib a Druze minister but not aligned with Junblat’s part of the Druze and a nephew to a Druze spiritual leader, he’s also a member of the Lebanese Democratic Party led by Talal Arslan. His party is the main rival of the Junblat’s family-run sectarian tribal ‘Social Progressive Party’, don’t get carried away by the names of the Lebanese ‘political parties’.

A similar incident was very close to blow-up the same fragile state of security in Lebanon when hundreds of uniformed forces from the so-called Information Branch tried to storm a rural poor village to kidnap or assassinate former Lebanese minister Wiam Wahhab, the outspoken critic of the Saudi regime. The ‘Information Branch‘ is known to be loyal to the once Saudi-kidnapped, humiliated, slapped, and psychological tortured sitting Prime Minister of Lebanon Saad Hariri, who was later rescued from Saudi Crown Prince’s custody by his own rivals in Lebanon Hezbollah and President Michele Aoun, and by direct interference from French President Macron since he holds a French citizenship among others. Saad Hariri happens to be the head of the ‘Future Movement’ who inherited all the posts from his late father Rafic Hariri who was assassinated by the only party his son never accused.

During the past 8 plus years of the Syrian crisis, the western-inclined on Saudi and Qatari payroll Lebanese tried to contribute to the War of Terror the US waged against their neighboring country which helped them maintain peace in their own for decades.

Many Lebanese officials led terrorist and weapons smuggling operations into Syria, they even hosted Al-Qaeda training camps in Lebanon and created hotbed for Al-Qaeda and ISIS to work from Lebanon across the borders into Syria; others used a large network of media channels they control, and the likes of Walid Jumblatt and his ‘Progressive Social Party’ resorted to all means including instigating sectarian strife amongst his own Druze sect in both Lebanon and Syria in order to cause maximum harm to the country that left him to become a leader among his clan until he thought the moment was ripe to Erdoganize Syria. His continuous failure never stopped him from continuous trying, his today’s situation being ignored by all other Lebanese parties is a creation of his own.

Lebanon is sitting on a barrel of gunpowder waiting to explode at any moment with massive instigating pressure from the US, Israel, Saudi, Qatar, and other players, and its security is barely preserved by Hezbollah and its allies, and that’s why Hezbollah and its backers are on the US list of enemies.

Hezbollah is an organisation of dignity and sanity, whilst the western and saudi puppets lack all decency. Remember that Hezbollah helpd the christians of southern Lebanon, deeply terroised by “israel” (the rcent name the Nazis are giving themselves) to rebuild their churches? remember that Hezbollah opened hositals whoch provide state of the art medical aid to anyone who lacks the amount of money to go to the hospitals of the fabulous lebanese state? Remeber it was Hezbollah who defeated the Israeli Demonic Forces? Hence, supporting Hezbollah (and Syria and Iraq and Iran and Ansarollah of Yemen) is the obligation every honest, sane, decent man in the world has.
