Hezb Allah Retaliates: Israeli Top Spy Base Bombed with Missiles

The Lebanese Islamic Resistance, Hezb Allah, bombed Israel’s top spy base on top of Jabal al-Jarmaq (Mount Meron) with dozens of missiles and rockets in retaliation to the Israeli terrorist assassination of Hamas’s top political leader Saleh Al-Arouri in southern Beirut last Tuesday.

Hezb Allah issued a statement taking responsibility for the bombing and asserting this was the first retaliation for the Israeli crime of ‘assassinating the top commander Saleh Al-Arouri and his companion’ detailing the operation:

First, the Meron air control base is located on the top of Mount Jarmaq (Meron) in northern occupied Palestine, which is the highest mountain peak in occupied Palestine. The Meron base is considered the only center for command, surveillance, and air control in the north of the usurping entity and there is no major alternative to it. It is one of two basic bases in The entire usurping entity (Israel): Meron in the north, and the second “Mitzpe Ramon” in the south.

Meron Base is concerned with organizing, coordinating, and commanding all air operations towards Syria, Lebanon, Turkey, Cyprus, and the northern part of the eastern basin of the Mediterranean Sea. This base also constitutes a major center for electronic jamming operations in the aforementioned directions, and a large number of elite Zionist officers and soldiers work in this base.

Secondly, at 07:50 AM on Saturday 01/06/2024, as part of the initial response to the crime of assassinating the great leader Sheikh Saleh Al-Arouri and his martyred brothers in the southern suburb of Beirut, the Mujahideen of the Islamic Resistance targeted the Meron air control base with 62 missiles of multiple types, causing direct and confirmed casualties. ‏

Israel claimed that 40 missiles and rockets targeted one of its bases in the north of occupied Palestine and is not admitting the real number of casualties or the extensive damage its spy base sustained, as usual.

This will not be the only operation in retaliation to Israel’s crime, as we have mentioned in our earlier post about the assassination, Israel committed a deadly mistake which comprises crossing all red lines set by Sayed Hasan Nasr Allah, the leader of Hezb Allah murdering Palestinian commander and his aides, murdering the chief negotiator taking place to exchange the Israelis prisoners in Gaza with the thousands of Palestinians kidnapped by the Israeli regime, and the bombing targeted the Lebanese Capital Beirut.

When Hezb Allah’s statement says in the last paragraph: ‘as part of the initial response…’ that means this is just a part and there will be more parts, and this is only the initial response, meaning there will be further responses after the parts of this response are concluded.

The USA tried to deliver comforting messages to Hezb Allah immediately after the Israeli assassination of Saleh Al-Arouri that the Hezb was not targeted in this operation only to get a mocking reply from the Hezb officials in direct answer followed by Hezb Allah chief describing this as ‘the US is playing children games.’

If Israeli leaders, and their US, UK, and European sponsors do not want an ‘all-out war with no limits,’ they should sit idle and not retaliate to the bombing by Hezb Allah until the Hezb declares it concluded its response to the Israeli heinous crime. Any further retaliation by Israel to Hezb Allah’s response will open all gates of hell for the Israelis and the US ‘unsinkable carrier’ in the region.

Furthermore, this is only the first part of Hezb Allah’s response to the Israeli assassination crime of Al-Arouri, there will also be responses by the different Palestinian factions, namely Hamas, Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ), and other factions operating now in Gaza. In addition to the other retaliations by the Iranian forces in response to the Israeli assassination of IRGC commander and embassy attache in Damascus Seyed Razi Mousavi, and the terrorist bombing in Kerman, Iran for which the US-sponsored ISIS (ISIL- Daesh) claimed responsibility.
