CIA: More Foreign Terrorists Invade Syria

Syria: More foreign fighters line up between the terrorists.

The Deputy Director of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) said in a recent statement that more foreign fighters are pouring into Syria and that there are more and more foreign terrorists from the West fighting in the ranks of the Syrian al-Qaeda offshoot and affiliated jihadist groups than ever before.

Of course, not every of this foreign fighter is a terrorist in general – some are misguided, blinded by false religious indoctrination, bad education, and other reasons. However, when such persons are pouring into Syria with the intention to fight alongside the terrorist and jihadist groups against the secular Syrian government and President al-Assad, they become automatically terrorists and nothing else and as we have learned from the role model, the U.S., negotiations with terrorists are not useful.

The best method is an iron fist against terrorism and violence on Syrian soil while simultaneously trying to find several diplomatic solution with foreign powers. In this sense, Syria’s President Bashar al-Assad has been correct with this statements about an iron fist against terror between the borders of Syria.

The Deputy Director of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), Michael Morell, said in a recent interview with the known “Wall Street Journal” (WSJ) from Tuesday that the level of violence in Syria was likely to spill across the Syrian borders into Jordan, Iraq, and Lebanon. While this statement is certainly true, the Deputy Director of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), Michael Morell, covers up some other reasons as well as he probably wilfully has forgotten the previous situations in northern Lebanon, parts of Jordan and in Iraq, of course.

However, it’s always useful to make some propaganda with the spill over of the violence from Syria to the poor Lebanon, Jordan, and Iraq. One may ask who has previously caused a lot of bloodshed in Iraq and is still maintaining the sectarian tensions in this country…

The Deputy Director of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), Michael Morell, further said in his interview with the “Wall Street Journal” (WSJ), that he doubted the U.S. administration’s plans to arm the ground forces of the so-called “Syrian opposition” who include al-Qaeda-affiliated jihadists and gunmen.

The Deputy Director of the CIA also said that he considers the conflict and crisis within Syria as “probably the most important issue” in the world nowadays and stated that this also poses the “greatest threat to the national security of the United States now. However, if one arms jihadists, he should not be surprised if they turn against him later.

As several British security experts have already stated, the a lot of armed terrorists and many jihadists fighting in Syria against the secular government and President Bashar al-Assad in Damascus would not hesitate to also attack European countries if they would have the chance to do so. Same applies also (and probably especially) in terms of a possible attack against the United States or several terrorist attacks within the United States, of course. And then probably without the help of the CIA.

Meanwhile, the United Nations (UN) have published a new report about the Syrian conflict / Syrian war and this report says that the conflict within Syria has seen the emergence of a strong presence of Al-Qaeda fighters in Syria. The increasing presence of al-Qaeda in Syria attracts, so the UN report, hundreds of recruits from outside Syria.

Looking at the situation in Syria, one has not to be smart or to do a lot of work to publish such a report about the emergence of Al-Qaeda fighters in Syria. We already have written about this since months.

As mentioned in many short articles, the Syrian al-Qaeda offshoot (although “offshoots” is probably more correct) has finally more power in Syria than the foreign-backed criminals and terrorists of the “Free Syrian Army” (FSA), who are considered as being a bit more secular than the armed jihadists and Islamists of the Syrian al-Qaeda branch.

And so one… It is toilsome to repeat and repeat the same stuff over and over again, while knowing that the majority of Western readers consider the posts as Syrian propaganda or just do not care because Syria is only an Arab country, far far away.

The al-Qaeda-linked Jabhat al-Nusra (al-Nusra Front) constitutes along with the (also al-Qaeda-affiliated) Islamic State of Iraq and al-Sham the core of backbone of the armed jihadist and terrorist groups that are responsible for many violent acts in Syria, including car bomb attacks, suicide attacks, massacres, rapes, tortures, and the targeted killing of Syrian civilians or officials.

Not to mention all the kidnappings or the recent gruesome massacre against over 450 Syrian Kurds, including about 120 children – which is, according to the Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov, actually true (sadly).
