Last night several Salafists attacked actress Raghda, who was attending a poetry night at the Egyptian Opera House. The Syrian actress read some of her own poems, speaking of the sham revolutions. A Salafist was aggravated and started cursing her, then five others joined his verbal assault, which soon turned physical. The Salafists attacked her by throwing fire extinguishers on her. As a result, she was bruised and taken to hospital. Later on, Raghda pressed charges against Ammar AlQuraby, a Syrian opposition figure who is close to the MB Egyptian scene, saying that he had attempted more than once to kill her.
