Syria’s Assad Commemorates Damascus University Martyrs

Syria: Assad visits University in Damascus

Syrian president Bashar Al-Assad joined thousands of Damascus University students and families of Syria’s student martyrs in unveiling the monument to commemorate the martyrs of the university and all Syrian universities’ martyrs. President Assad ‘squeezed’ by crowds of students was quoted telling the students: ‘Our culture is light, survival and building.. their way is darkness, killing and vandalism.. Who couldn’t bear a statue of Abul ʿAla Al-Maʿarri won’t bear heroic youth like you whose weapon is knowledge and science and knowledge

More than 20 students were killed in the Architect College in Damascus University on 28 March 2013 when a group of NATO’s apes aka Al-Qaeda FSA terrorists shelled the college with mortars, Obama’s administration and other western governments call it ‘non-lethal’ aid. Aleppo’s University received 2 shells by the NATO backed ‘freedom fighters’ on 15 January 2013 resulting in killing 82 students and injuring double that number, and due to the heinous nature of this crime the Syrian oppositions abroad, also backed by NATO, tried to accuse the Syrian Arab Army of shelling the university by an air jet which proved another farce like all their accusations.
