Syrian Army units regained control of some villages in the countryside of Homs.

After intense clashes with several groups of foreign-backed terrorists in the countryside of the Syrian city of Homs, the units of the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) were able to regain the full control of several villages in the area of the city which located in the West of Syria.

The Syrian city of Homs (Arabic: حمص‎) is located in western Syria and the capital of the Homs Governorate, of course. The important city is about 160 kilometres away from the capital Damascus and located on the Orontes River. The city of Homs became soon “famous” since the beginning of the armed terrorism on Syrian soil over two years ago. And despite reports about a full liberation of Homs from the armed terrorists and extremist groups, the situation is still different and the fighting continues. However, this applies to many regions in Syria.

At least, the units of the Syrian Army were able to regain the full control of some villages on the outskirts of the city of Homs after intense battles against the foreign-backed terrorist groups.

At least, the official news agency of Syria, SANA, reported that units of the Syrian Army were able to push out armed terrorists of the villages of Salam Sharqi, al-Sultaniyeh and Salam Gharbi on Wednesday.

Afterwards, the Syrian soldiers of the operative army units in the western city of Homs tried to restore stability and security to the area. However, one can just hope that the reports are true. Both sides lied so often since the beginning of the conflict that it just proves that in times of war, there is no honest side.

According to the report by Syria’s official news agency SANA, a not known number of armed terrorists were killed and several injured in the heavy clashes between these foreign-supported terrorist groups and the units of the Syrian Army on Wednesday. The units of the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) were also able to destroy a large amount of arms during the clashes against the extremists and terrorists in the region on the outskirts of Homs.

Beside the intense clashes in the western city of Homs and some other parts of the countryside of the Syrian city, there were also some battles between units of the Syrian Army and armed extremist groups near the central city of Hama. According to the reports, the troops of the Syrian Army were able to recapture the areas of Qaser Ibn Wardan and al-Lala on the outskirts of the Syrian city of Hama.

It is said that footage was released after the recapture of Qaser Ibn Wardan and al-Lala near the city of Hama. This footage shows how the surviving terrorists have burned the bodies of their killed comrades before they fled from the places of the clashes. It is assumed that they burned the bodies of their dead comrades in a bid to hide the foreign identity. Such a process by the foreign-backed terrorists is already known since months.

Further reports from the battlefields in Syria say that there were also several clashes between the troops of the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) and armed extremists in the areas of the countryside of Damascus (Dimashq), Dara’a, and also in Aleppo (Halab).

Meanwhile, armed infighting between armed groups of terrorists and Al-Qaeda-affiliated extremists took place in the eastern province of Deir ez-Zor. It seems that while the different terrorist groups have agreed on a ceasefire in the Syrian village of Azaz, the other linked groups are still fighting against each other in the Syrian province of Deir ez-Zor.

Several terrorists were already killed in the armed power struggles between the Al-Qaeda-linked jihadists and groups affiliated with the so-called “Free Syrian Army” (FSA) in the area of Syria’s Deir ez-Zor.
