Syria: Terrorists Often Masquerade as UN Peacekeepers

United Nations - UN - UnFair

Syria: Turkish President Abdullah Gul lied about border security.

While the Turkish President Abdullah Gul spoke about border security at the Turkish border to Syria and stated that Turkey is not able to prevent the infiltration of terrorists and jihadists from the neighbouring country Syria into its territory, and thus, Abdullah Gul has simply lied in his recent statement, a senior diplomat from New York said that the terrorists in the area of the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights often masquerade themselves as peacekeepers of the United Nations (UN).

The senior diplomat from New York cited sources of the United Nations (UN) as saying that the terrorists, who are in the region near to the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights often disguise as UN peacekeepers.

According to the information by the New York-based diplomat through his sources at the United Nations headquarters the terrorists near the occupied Golan Heights disguise themselves as UN peacekeepers in the hope that the wearing of blue helmets and UN-style fatigues would help them to prevent the detection by the Syrian Arab Army (SAA). The senior diplomat with links to the UN headquarters in New York added that the armed terrorists near the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights have apparently stolen the helmets and fatigues of UN peacekeepers.

Further, the armed terrorist groups fighting in Syria against the Syrian army and the secular government of President al-Assad in Damascus have often used the disguise as Syrian soldiers or police in order to prevent the detection by the Syrian army or by Syrian civilians. Thus, it is nothing new that the foreign-backed terrorists use the fatigues of the Syrian army or of UN peacekeepers in order to prevent a detection and attack by the units of the Syrian army.

One of the problems were the checkpoints by terrorist groups – e.g. in districts of Aleppo or Homs. The terrorists at some checkpoints have used the uniforms of the Syrian army and the residents in the Syrian cities of Aleppo and Homs never knew if they drive towards a checkpoint of the army or of the armed terrorists. However, and it is in this reference not funny, it was often noticeable by the beards of the terrorists and their behaviour.

In the meantime, the Turkish President Abdullah Gul told the Turkish press that Turkey is not able to prevent the infiltration of armed terrorists and Islamists from the neighbouring country Syria into its territory although the security measures are very tight along the border to Syria. However, this statement by the Turkish President Abdullah Gul is simply a lie.

The Turkish government and thus, Turkish President Abdullah Gul and Prime Minister Erdogan, but also the Turkish Foreign Minister, support the armed terrorist groups since the beginning of the armed terrorism on Syrian soil. Turkey hosts terrorist groups near the border to Syria and helps them to infiltrate into Syrian territory. There are several camps to host and train the gunmen and terrorists and to provide them with shelter when they return from their battles in Syria.

The Turkish President Abdullah Gul, who is currently in New York in order to attend the UN General Assembly, further stated that the armed terrorist groups that the amount of terrorists infiltrating into Turkey from Syria has already become a serious concern for the national security of the country. However, who hosts and supports terrorists should not be too surprised that these armed terrorists and jihadists become a concern for the national security.

The same applies for the support of the terrorists groups in Syria by Washington, Paris, London, Germany, Belgium and other Western countries when these terrorists and jihadists will return to their home lands after the battles in Syria. Who supports terrorists and jihadists although he knows that it is about religious fanatics and radical groups should not speak about serious concerns for the national security because such phrases are then simply hypocritical. Every school boy could have told them that the supported Islamists and militants also pose a threat for the national security of their countries. Maybe not today, but certainly tomorrow.

The Turkish President Abdullah Gul made this statement to the Turkish press although he is a key supporter of the terrorist groups near the Turkish border to Syria and of the terrorists and jihadists fighting in Syria against the units of the Syrian Army.

Further,  the Turkish President Abdullah Gul made these complains about the national security and the situation at the Turkish-Syrian border although Ankara provides the armed terrorist groups with weapons, money, and shelter since the beginning of the armed terrorism in the neighbouring country Syria. It is simply a fact that the Turkish President Abdullah Gul lied in order to maintain the propaganda by Ankara.
