Syria: New Evidence Prove Terrorists Used Chemical Weapons

Syria - Damascus - Highway - Airport

Syria hands over new evidence for the use of CW agents by terrorists to Russia.

While Washington and Moscow still argue about the upcoming resolution of the UN Security Council (UNSC) on Syria in regards of the inclusion of the partly dangerous Chapter 7 of the UN Charter, which would allow the use of military force to “restore international peace” again, there are also different views on the information and published analysis of the samples from the suburbs of Syria’s capital Damascus in the UN report by the team of experts and by the laboratories.

However, under the consideration that there were no traces of CW agents in samples from Muadamiah and that the foreign-backed terrorists and their supporters and backers outside Syria have thus lied about the alleged chemical weapons attack in this area near Damascus, it seems that the accusations by Washington against the Syrian government about the use of chemical weapons against its own people have yet again lost ground.

Further, there is still no convincing evidence for these claims by the United States, France, and Britain against the Syrian government that it has used chemical weapons against civilians in the suburbs of Damascus on e.g. August 21. Not to mention that the UN report does not include a statement and conclusion that says that the Syrian government would be guilty for the use of chemical weapons. In addition, that the presented witnesses by the so-called “Syrian rebels” for the use of chemical weapons in Muadamiah have thus simply lied to the UN inspectors should at least raise some questions.

Meanwhile, it is also known that the Syrian government in Damascus has again handed over evidence for the use of CW agents by the foreign-backed terrorists in Syria to the Russian authorities. According to the statements by Russia’s Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov from yesterday, Moscow has again received proof by the Syrian government that chemicals were used by the so-called “opposition forces” on Syrian soil. Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov added after a meeting with the Syrian Foreign Minister Walid al-Muallem (al-Moallem) that Moscow has received new evidence by the Syrian authorities and that Russia has to analyse the new evidence by the Syrian government that should confirm the use of chemical weapons by the terrorist groups on Syrian soil.

The new evidence should prove that the so-called “Syrian rebels” were involved in the use of chemical weapons in August. However, before Russia will make further statements about the evidence from Syria, it has to analyse the new proofs from the Syrian government, of course.

The meeting between the Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov and the Syrian Foreign Minister Walid al-Muallem (al-Moallem) took place after the UN report on the investigation and analysis of samples from Syria has been published. The UN inspectors said on Monday that “clear and convincing evidence” for the use of chemical weapons, including Sarin, was found. However, the UN Inspectors did not really mention the contradictions in the UN report and after the study of the analysis data, which was published in the UN report.

As mentioned, the UN report even confirms in principle that the foreign-backed terrorist groups have fabricated one of the chemical weapons attacked and their witnessed lied to the UN inspectors. Indeed, this is confirmed by the analysis data and the information in the UN report.

And although the UN inspectors and their report on Syria and the investigation of the samples from the suburbs and areas around the capital Damascus do not blame any side for the use of these chemical warfare agents, the United States and the usual Western allies and slaves of Washington and Israel still blame the Syrian government and President al-Assad for the use of chemical weapons. However, the United States have still not published convincing evidence for these accusations against Damascus and also the released UN report does not include a proof that the Syrian government of President al-Assad would be responsible. Instead, the report of the UN (United Nations) confirms that one of the attacks was fabricated and that alleged witnesses of the “Syrian rebels” have lied to the UN inspectors.

Russia’s Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov said in his new statements after the meeting with his Syrian counterpart, Walid al-Muallem (al-Moallem), that the Russian administration was “disappointed” with the way the UN mission of the experts in Syria has approached the report. The Russian Minister called the UN report “incomplete.”

Also the Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has already said that the new report by the United Nations (UN) on the investigation of the use of chemical weapons near Damascus would not answer many questions. Lavrov has afterwards again urged that the UN experts have to return to Syria in order to conduct additional investigations and to take samples from e.g. Khan al-Assal near the Syrian city of Aleppo (Halab).

Of course, Russia’s Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov has the same opinion as Sergey Lavrov about the UN report and the continuation of the UN mission in Syria. Ryabkov also said after his meeting with Walid al-Muallem that “without the full picture of the events here [in Syria] we cannot but call the nature of conclusions drawn by UN experts as politicized, biased and unilateral.”

Russia’s Deputy Foreign Minister also stressed that while the Syrian government has to accomplish its tasks in terms of the chemical weapons stockpiles in the Arab country and to submit all data to the United Nations (UN), in line with the Russian-US agreement in Geneva between John Kerry and Sergey Lavrov, that Moscow is disappointed with the “politically charged and biased conclusions of UN chemical weapons inspectors” who were in Syria in order to investigate the alleged use of chemical weapons in the Syrian conflict.

Riabkov added that he believes that the inspectors of the United Nations (UN) have prepared their report at random and on a partial scale, while they have not considered the circumstances that were repeatedly pointed out by Russia. Further, the UN inspectors had no chance to investigate the use of chemical weapons by foreign-backed terrorists in Khan al-Assal in March 2013, and have not mentioned anything about the previous Russian investigation and analysis of samples that confirm the use of chemical weapons in Khan al-Assal and is, according to Sergey Lavrov, even first-hand evidence.

Russia’s Deputy Foreign Minister Riabkov finally said that the conclusions by the chemical experts and inspectors of the United Nations (UN) would be “lopsided” because they do not provide a full picture of the situation in the Arab country.

And in terms of the new evidence by the Syrian government for the use of chemical weapons by the foreign-supported terrorist groups in Syria, it remains to be seen which results a Russian analysis and investigation will have. However, it is to expect that the Russian analysis of the new evidence submitted by the Syrian government on the use of chemical weapons by the terrorist groups on Syrian soil will come to the same result.
