Syria: Moscow and Washington support a transitional government

Foreign powers against the Syrian people. Proxy war in Syria.

In consideration of all the different sides, interests and aims in and around Syria, it is no surprise that the Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has admitted that the organisation of a new so-called “international conference” about Syria and a possible peaceful political solution is a heavy task.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said yesterday, after his meeting with the U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry, that the organisation of a new international conference on Syria in Geneva is a tough task but he also said that the chances are bigger in reality than one might think about the chances of such a next conference on Syria.

Sergei Lavrov also said in his statement after the meeting with US Secretary of State John Kerry, that he hopes that Moscow and Washington will implement this initiative and that the chances for a success of this conference on Syria are big enough. He also stated that he hopes that they will use this opportunity successfully and that they will try to do everything possible to “stop the bloodletting” and “to put an end to the Syrians’ sufferings”.

In terms of his meeting with the U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry, the Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that they have discussed a Russian-American agreement on convening such a conference on the topic Syria and that both are focused on the importance of “determining the scope of participants”, which means in first place, the sides that do represent the Syrian government in Damascus and the (so-called external) Syrian opposition.

The Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov also underlined in his statements after the meeting with John Kerry that it is very important for the possibility of a peaceful political solution for Syria that the “key players” take part in the talks so “that they might exert influence on the situation together”. Lavrov also stated afterwards, that it is also important that all the participants, which have taken part in the last conference on Syria in Geneva (worthless) “will receive invitations” for this second attempt of a conference with real result(s) that are implemented by all sides and not just hot air as result. Lavrov called it the “Geneva-2 talks” afterwards.

The U.S. Secretary of State Kerry said meanwhile in an interview after the meeting with the Russian Foreign Minister that Moscow and Washington would “speak in favor of arranging a situation where the Syrians themselves could map out the future of their homeland” and that Russia and the United States are seeking to fulfil the Geneva communique and to create the needed conditions for the setting up of a transitional government, which means that Russia supports a transitional government for Syria.

According to the hypocritical words by US Secretary of State Kerry, such a transitional government in Syria would give “the Syrians an opportunity to determine their future on their own”. He further stated that Moscow and the United States might have already discussed a possible list of participants for the upcoming Geneva II conference on Syria and that the topic will later be discussed with the French Foreign Minister, of course.

There will never be a "transitional government" as long as SAA and the Syrians stay united and continues their massive regains of territory lost or left behind for more important areas.

    Of course Russia knows this:

"Russia slams end of EU arms embargo, calls S-300s ‘stabilizing factor’ in Syria" (RT/AP )

A very stabilizing factor that will cool off Zionist hotheads or rather their western slave regimes doing the fighting for them. If the zionazis want to get shot down and have their occupied Golan retaken by hordes of REAL freedom fighterss, well that is what they are going to get…
