Syria: Meeting of Organization for Prohibition of Chemical Weapons

Chemicals

Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) talks about Syrian chemical weapons.

It seems that the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) will not meet in The Hague today in order to discuss the US-Russia agreement on Syria’s chemical weapons arsenal and the possible ways to control and destroy the stockpiles of chemical weapons on Syrian soil as it was announced by the director general Ahmet Uzumcu yesterday.

The director general of the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW), Ahmet Uzumcu, said yesterday that the organization will meet in The Hague today. However, the spokesperson of the OPCW, Michael Luhan, has afterwards announced that the organization will hold a meeting on Syria’s chemical weapons on Sunday at 8:00 o`clock (GMT).

The Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) is an intergovernmental organisation with its headquarters in The Hague and hopefully more objective than the United Nations (UN) or other “UN agencies. However, the OPCW is not an agency of the UN and it is to hope that the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) has more neutrality in regards of Syria than the usual biased or hypocritically UN organizations.

Of course, the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) will have an important role in the plans to place Syria’s chemical weapons under an international supervision and the following destruction of the chemical arsenals from Syria and it is certainly the most relevant organisation for the investigation and control of the stockpiles with chemical arms on Syrian soil.

It was to expect that the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) will soon meet in The Hague in order to discuss the Russian-American deal on Syria’s chemical stockpiles and the possible joining of the Chemical Weapons Convention (CWC) by the Syrian government.

The Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) promotes and controls the adherence to the Chemical Weapons Convention (CWC) that prohibits the production and use of chemical weapons and thus, it is already to expect that inspectors of the OPCW will travel to Syria. However, the timeframe and date is not known yet, of course.

The first official meeting of the members at the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) will thus take place in The Hague on Sunday. The Executive Council of the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) consists of 41 member states and it seems that every representative will participate in the meeting on Syria in The Hague.

The Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) is the organization that has to conduct the investigations of the stockpiles in Syria and is, of course, charged with all other duties around the Russian-American agreement in regards of the chemical weapons in Syria. The OPCW has to implement the Chemical Weapons Convention (CWC) and to verify that Syria will comply with the Convention that prohibits the use and production of chemical warfare agents.

The 41 members of the Executive Council from the OPCW will discuss the Russian-American plan for Syria’s chemical weapons and possible measures to comply with the agreement and to conduct the transport and destruction of the chemical weapons from the Arab country.

Syria starts to comply to its agree, ments and yet the US are far from giving up hopes of striking the country. Now the US are cooking up allegations that Syria has started moving around CWs in order to hide them from inspectors or destruction. Yes, Syria has been moving the stuff before, to secure it from falling into wrong hands, something that might have actually happen, though.
Oh, and as Kerry & Co are busy to form another dirty story about Syria, noone in the US seems to be interested in Syria’s neighbors’ NCB weapons stockpiles, except for the NY Times. This paper again seems to be the forrunner of political education for dumb American brains… http://www.nytimes.com/2013/09/19/opinion/global/lets-be-honest-about-israels-nukes.html?WT.mc_id=AD-D-E-OTB-GLOBOP-0913-WT.mc_ev=click&WT.mc_c=__CAMP_UID__&_r=0

Hi, AH. I’d like to recommend to you http://www.infowars.com, as well as http://www.prisonplanet.com. You can also find ‘The Alex Jones Show’ on http://www.gcnlive.com, as well as other programs you may find interesting. In English, from Austin, Texas.

We do know that American politics is very densely populated with grifters, grafters, liars, thieves, perverts and con men – – not to mention the lazy and the stupid. We also know that Obama has his orders, and the missiles will fly.
Well, except for the poor fools who voted for Obama only because he is not white, Americans are becoming very aware that the US is moribund; the brick brains still think that Obama will ‘fall by the house’ on Saturday for some ‘que, and hand out checks for a couple of million dollars. Blithering idiots we also have, in plenty.
