Syria: Armed Infighting Between FSA and Al-Nusra Front

Syria / Maaloula (Ma’loula)

Al-Qaeda-linked al-Nusra Front and “Free Syrian Army” (FSA): Armed power struggles.

Jihadists of the Al-Qaeda-linked Jabhat al-Nusra (al-Nusra Front) and terrorists of the so-called “Free Syrian Army” (FSA) have again exchanged fire in an area in the northeast of Syria about the control of a Syrian village. Both violent groups conduct armed infighting about the control over several regions in Syria since a long time now.

The next case of an armed power struggle between the armed Islamists of the Syrian Al-Qaeda offshoot, the al-Nusra Front, and the criminals and terrorists of the so-called “Free Syrian Army” (FSA) took place in the northeast of Syria. Both terrorist groups have exchanged fire in order to gain the control over a Syrian village in the region.

This is just the next case of an armed infighting between these groups. However, the al-Nusra Front (Jabhat al-Nusra) has in principle the upper hand in the battles against the armed terrorists of the so-called “Free Syrian Army” (FSA), which lose more and more ground in Syria. As often mentioned and again confirmed by a new British study, the majority of the armed terrorists and militants on Syrian soil are already either directly linked to Al-Qaeda or affiliated with Al-Qaeda-near groups.

Further, the British study says that the majority of the terrorists fighting in Syria are now already religious fanatics, thus, jihadists and Islamists. However, those are the guys who now even receive more support by Britain, France, and the United States.

The new armed infighting and clashes between the jihadists of the Al-Nusra Front (Jabhat al-Nusra) and the terrorists of the so-called “Free Syrian Army” (FSA) over the control of a strategic Syrian village in the northeast of the Arab country just confirms that all the terrorist groups on Syrian soil are divided in their goals, aims and motivations. Not to mention that it does not matter whether the al-Qaeda-affiliated al-Nusra Front or the so-called “Free Syrian Army” (FSA) has the upper hand in these fights because both are violent, dangerous and simply terrorists.

The new clashes over the control of a strategic village in north-eastern Syria took place in the province of al-Hasakah. The reports say that the armed terrorists of the “Free Syrian Army” (FSA) were eventually able to push back the armed jihadist forces of the Jabhat al-Nusra and to retake the control of the Syrian village. However, this is a rare case because as stated, the armed Islamists of the Al-Qaeda-affiliated al-Nusra Front (Jabhat al-Nusra) have in principle mainly the upper hand in these armed infightings between those terrorist groups on Syrian soil.

A local source from the north-eastern al-Hasakah province of Syria said that the intense clashes between the Jabhat al-Nusra jihadists and the Ahrar Abdan Battalion, which is affiliated to the so-called “Free Syrian Army” (FSA), have initially erupted over the control of a grain silo in a Syrian village in the Southern parts of the countryside of Al-Hasakah (Rif Al-Hasakah). Afterwards, the fierce clashes between the Al-Qaeda-linked al-Nusra Front and the FSA’s Ahrar Abdan Battalion were expanded about the control of the village.

Another case of the increasing armed infighting between the al-Nusra Front and the terrorists of the so-called “Free Syrian Army” (FSA) took place in Deir ez-Zor (Der Ezzor, Deir Azzor) yesterday. Intense clashes erupted between the armed jihadists of the Jabhat al-Nusra and the criminals of the “Free Syrian Army” (FSA) in the province of Deir ez-Zor (Der Ezzor, Deir Azzor), which is located in the East of Syria. According to the reports about these armed power struggles between both violent and dangerous groups, tens of terrorists were killed and many more injured during the fire exchanges between the Al-Qaeda-affiliated terrorist group (Jabhat al-Nusra) and the criminals of the “Free Syrian Army” (FSA).

The increase of the armed power struggles and infighting between these terrorist groups and the jihadist forces fighting on Syrian soil just confirms that no foreign state or intelligence agency is able to just send weapons and “military aid” into the hands of alleged “moderate Islamists” / “Syrian rebels”, because the chaotic situation and the armed infighting makes it impossible to just supply the “good terrorists” with new weapons.

Not to mention that the al-Qaeda-linked al-Nusra Front has, as stated, in principle mainly the upper hand in the terrorist occupied areas and thus, the arms supplies to Syria by the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) and the new agreement between France, Britain, and the United States to increase the support for the terrorists in Syria just means that al-Qaeda is boosted and will receive new weapons. It is a fact that it is simply impossible to just transport new weapons into the hands of one of the terrorist groups on Syrian soil.
