Syria Human Rights Watch: Armed Opposition in Syria Burned and Looted Religious Sites

BEIRUT, (SANA) – Human Rights Watch on Wednesday said that armed opposition groups looted and burned religious sites for “the minorities” in Syria.
Reuters quoted the organization as saying that the armed opposition fighters in Syria destroyed” Husseiniya” in Idleb in Northern Syria.
A video published on the web taken in front of ” Husseiniya” showed opposition fighters celebrating victory amid the site’s debris in Zarzar village in Idleb.
In the same context, the organization quoted a number of residents in Lattakia city as saying that gunmen working under the umbrella of the Syrian opposition broke into churches in the village of Jdeideh and stole their contents .
