The Syrian Arab army continues its targeted operations against the armed groups of jihadists, fighters and mercenaries in the outskirts of the Syrian capital Damascus. Already yesterday, a not specified amount of radical fighters and terrorists were killed in intense clashes with units of the Syrian army in the village of al-Tall, which is located in the north of the Syrian capital Damascus. At least, the official Syrian state news agency SANA reports this.

In addition, according to SANA and other news agencies, the Syrian Arab army has also killed several radical gunmen in the area of Qara and also in the east of Ghouta, which is located in the east of Damascus.

Again, another pickup truck which was equipped with a Dushka machine gun was destroyed by the Syrian army and some rocket-propelled grenade (RPG) launchers, as well as machine guns and other variants of guns were seized by some Syrian army troops near the capital Damascus.

Several snipers of the radical “Free Syrian Army” (FSA) were meanwhile killed in the city of Harasta, which is located about 15 miles northeast of the capital Damascus.

It is, thus, obvious that the Syrian Arab army continues the attempts to finally clear the outskirts of the capital completely. But it is also to mention, that this cleaning will last long and due to the situations, it can`t be done in several weeks or just one or two months.

There was some further good news, although it is not quite clear if this news is really truth. According to some information, units of the Syrian Arab army were able to finally regain control about the suburbs of Haran al-Awamid, Adra, al-Ataibeh and Kafreen on Sunday evening.
