On Friday October 12, 2012 morning prominent Ukrainian journalist Anhar Kochneva was on a trip between Damascus and Tartous on the Syrian coast and was kidnapped by a terrorists group which later asked the governments of Ukraine, Russia and Syria a ransom of 50 Million Euros to release her.  5 months in captivity till news broke out today that Ms. Kochneva was managed to escape from her kidnappers and was on the way to Damascus, per a relative she got in contact with.
