Qusayr, Syria: Residents of liberated Syrian city start normal life

Syria

Qusayr, Syria: Life’s returning to a resumed normality after liberation by Syrian army.

The life of the locals in the Syrian city of al-Qusayr, located near the Syrian border to the neighbouring country of Lebanon, has almost returned to normal since the liberation of the province and city of Qusayr by the units of the Syrian Arab army (SAA) and the support of fighters of the Lebanese resistance movement Hezbollah about two months ago – while the liberation of the strategically important Syrian city of Homs is imminent.

The there marauding foreign-backed terrorists and jihadists were crushed by the Syrian army and Hezbollah fighters about two months ago. Further, the for the terrorists important supply routes from Lebanon to Syria were cut off by the army units and thus, the logical consequence followed these events – the armed terrorist groups had no more the hope for the arrival of a reinforcement and arms supplies over the Syrian-Lebanese border.

In addition, the so-called “Hariri thugs” from northern Lebanon had finally to withdraw from the Syrian soil in the area of the city of al-Qusayr and several small armed gangs of these sectarian “Hariri thugs” from Lebanon were eliminated by units of the Syrian army and/or Hezbollah fighters on Syrian soil in the events of the liberation of al-Qusayr.

Two months ago, during the important events of the liberation of the Syrian city of Qusayr (al-Qusayr / Qusair / القصير‎), the Western media propaganda started an outcry about the support by the fighters of the Lebanese resistance movement Hezbollah for the Syrian Arab army (SAA), and thus, for the secular government under President Bashar al-Assad in the capital Damascus against the foreign-supported armed terrorist and jihad brigades.

The Western reports have concealed about the events in the area of the Syrian city of al-Qusayr that the Hezbollah fighters supporting the military operations of the Syrian army also had a very personal reason for their fight against the armed terrorists in this area of Syria, near the border to Lebanon.

Several families and relatives of members of the Lebanese resistance movement Hezbollah live in towns and villages nearby the area of Syria’s Qusayr and it is an very understandable fact that nobody wants such armed terrorists and these jihadists with their sectarian rage in a location that is very near to the beloved wife and children. Well, the Hezbollah fighters had several reasons for their support the units of the Syrian army and they did a very brave and honourable job in the liberation of Qusayr from all the foreign-backed terrorists.

Al-Qusayr (Arabic: القصير‎) is, as mentioned, located in the west of Syria and belongs to the province of the also strategically important city of Homs. The region of Qusayr is in principle a very beautiful mountainous area between Syria and Lebanon. The locals had a very normal life before the armed terrorist groups have begun to threaten their families and to occupy areas in the region and to commit several crimes against the Syrian civilians.

The liberation of al-Qusayr will probably enter the history books as one of the important events for the victory of the Syrian Arab army (SAA) against the foreign-supported proxy war, the attempt of the implementation of the so-called Salvador option within the borders of Syria and against all the criminals and gunmen.

Thus, the victory of the secular Arab nation against the sectarian rage and violent intentions of Western states and their regional allies / proxies in order to topple the “not amenable” Syrian government and President Bashar al-Assad in the capital, Damascus.

The residents of al-Qusayr have started to return to a somehow normal life after the liberation of their town from all the terrorists by the Syrian army and the Hezbollah fighters around two months ago.

The Syrian town of Qusayr, located in the administratively part of the Homs Governorate,  will hopefully enjoy a peaceful time now – without the violence and sectarian rage of the foreign-supported terrorists and without the threats of the “Hariri thugs” from Lebanon (in the north of Lebanon).

According to several reports about the current situation in the Syrian town of Qusayr near the city of Homs, the locals have already begun with the cleaning of the city and even started the planting of trees. Further, Syrian electricians have also begun with the installation of wiring and the repairs of the telecommunication cables that were damaged either wilfully by the terrorist groups or in the clashes between them and the units of the Syrian army two months ago.

One can just hope the best for the residents of al-Qusayr and the nearby locals in the small and beautiful towns and villages in this mountainous region of Syria near the border to Lebanon.

Well, I’m glad that folks are going back home. That’s a good thing.

Note to SAA and Hezbollah: well done, guys! go on with the rat killin’. Good hunting.

Note to MK; Instead of ‘is imminent’, might I suggest something on the order of, ‘continues to move forward’? ‘Is imminent’ has been used a lot, creating an expectation of, basically, in the next couple days. Urban warfare is always slow going and very dangerous, with no guarantees whatever of success in the next five minutes. I’ve seen the pictures of the neighborhoods being fought over and recall when Hue was expected to be retaken in a week or ten days. ‘Is imminent’ does a disservice to your readers, and to your own reportage’, and I hate to see that – – This is not a slam at you, but intended to offer my thoughts upon how your reportage, in this instance, could be made both true and accurate. I have a real affection for your reportage and organization, MK, and am amazed that you do so well in an unfamiliar third language. Keep up the good work, and a big Nevada ‘smile and a howdy’ to your – – um – – staff?
