US Senator Rand Paul Slams Obama’s War Plans for Syria

The Republican US Senator Rand Paul, known for this anti-war stance, has again criticized the U.S. President Barack Obama and his administration in regards of the new plans of Washington about a military intervene in Syria and their plans to send more weapons and military aid into the hands of the terrorists of the so-called “Free Syrian Army” (FSA) by the use of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) and their good contacts and guys in Turkey, Jordan, and Lebanon.

The Anti-war Republican US Senator Rand Paul has said that the Obama administration intends to engage in a war of attrition in Syria, although it seems clear that the United States are already engaged in such a war against the Syrian nation and the government of President Bashar al-Assad in Damascus in order to topple them. The United States, Israel, some European states and regional proxies want to implement a proxy regime in Syria after the overthrow of President Bashar al-Assad and the removal of the current secular government in the capital, Damascus.

The Republican US Senator Rand Paul said in his new statements at the Veterans of Foreign Wars National Convention that he was told by the Obama administration that they have the plan, in regards of Syria, “to fight to a stalemate.”
Republican US Senator Rand Paul further said this at this Veterans of Foreign Wars National Convention, according to a report by Russia Today (RT):

“I’ve told them I’m not sending my kids or your kids or any American soldiers to fight for stalemate.”

US Senator Rand Paul is convinced that the Obama administration wants the U.S. military to finally open up a front in the Middle East without waiting for the approval by the U.S. Congress. US lawmakers are currently still discussing about the target role of the United States in the “bloody foreign-backed insurgency in Syria.”

Rand Paul also complained at the Veterans of Foreign Wars National Convention about the plans of the U.S. President Barack Obama to engage U.S. troops and units in Syria without the authorization of the American Congress and said at this Convention of U.S. Veterans, that if the Obama administration really wants to arm Islamist fighters in Syria, then they should, at least, receive the authorization of the U.S. Congress for such a crime. According to Rand Paul, the U.S. Constitution is very clear in this and states that the U.S. Congress has the power to declare a war and not President Obama.

According to the US Senator Rand Paul, U.S. President Obama will move ahead with the plans to give weapons in the hands of jihadists and terrorists in Syria – without the authorization of the U.S. Congress. In addition, Rand Paul is convinced that the United States should more likely act as peace keeper and not as “global policeman” – for the “sake of the United States” and “for the sake of the U.S. soldiers.”

Rand Paul’s father, the former Republic Senator Ron Paul (Texas), said last month that the talks about the use of chemical weapons in Syria would be identical to the “massive deception campaign that led us into the Iraq War” and this is certainly correct.

The propaganda about the use of chemical weapons in Syria by the Syrian Arab army (SAA), while Russian experts have already first-hand evidence that foreign-backed terrorist groups used sarin nerve gas in an attack near to Aleppo some months ago, should only serve as a horrible pretext for another false war, which is again based on lies.
