Iranian Clerics: Conflicts in Egypt are Benefits for Zionists

Egypt - It could be so beautiful..

The Iranian Assembly of Qom Seminary Scholars and Researchers (Association of Researchers and Teachers of Qom) has issued a new statement by which they express their regrets about the current situation in Egypt and especially in the Egyptian capital, Cairo.

The statement by the Assembly of Qom Seminary Scholars and Researchers also notes that the domestic conflicts in Egypt are only benefits for the Zionist regime of Israel and thus, not the best things that can happen.

This statement by the Assembly of Qom Seminary Scholars and Researchers was released on Thursday and further states that the internal conflicts in the North African country are able to push this “important country” Egypt toward an “ambiguous and complicated fate and affect the entire region”.

The religious body of the Iranian Assembly of Qom Seminary Scholars and Researchers, often also called the Association of Researchers and Teachers of Qom, also mentioned some advises for the conflicting sides and parties in their statement about the situation in Egypt and that this situation only benefits the Zionist regime of Israel. The statement advised all sides in Egypt to “stop the fratricide” in Egypt and to immediately adhere to the known principles of a dialogue.

In addition, the conflicting parties in Egypt should avoid every violence, which is important in order to find a solution for the current conflicts in the North African country.

The Egyptian-Egyptian conflicts, so the statement by the Iranian clerics, have no other result than to make the enemies of the Islamic Ummah happy and especially, the conflicts in Egypt are benefits for the Zionist regime of Israel that “has been wounded by the wave of the Islamic Awakening”.

While it is good that the Iranian Assembly of Qom Seminary Scholars and Researchers calls for an end of the violence and the beginning of real dialogues between the conflicting parties and sides in Egypt, the phrase about the so-called “Islamic Awakening” is to put into question.

The Iranian Assembly of Qom Seminary Scholars and Researchers (Association of Researchers and Teachers of Qom) is also known outside of the country after their criticism of the presidential elections in Iran 2009. The Assembly of Iranian clerics and researchers criticized the election vote counting system in 2009 and even the Iranian Guardian Council in a statement.

Afterwards, the Iranian Assembly of Qom Seminary Scholars and Researchers demanded new elections in Iran, which made them famous for a short time in Western media.

Interesting article. The only fairly cogent definition of ‘Zionist’ which I’ve ever encountered was in the book ‘Pawns in The Game’, by William Guy Carr. a ‘Zionist’ agenda was laid out in ‘The Protocols of the Learned Elders of Zion’, Israel had no discernible function. Maybe the Seminary Scholars and Researchers would provide us with a definitive description of a ‘Zionist’, but I don’t expect that to happen. ‘Zionist’ seems to be one of those amorphous terms which is supposed to be understood by the reader or listener, that understanding colored by his or her own experiences, prejudices and amount of propaganda which he or she has not managed to shrug off.
