cameron britain might circumvent eu weapons embargo on syria

Mar 12, 2013

LONDON, (SANA) – British Prime Minister David Cameron said that Britain might circumvent the EU weapons embargo imposed on Syria by providing weapons to terrorist groups.

Cameron said to a parliamentary committee that Britain might be prepared to circumvent the weapons embargo on Syria in order to provide weapons to opposition fighters, hoping that European partners can be convinced to change their minds, adding that if that didn’t happen, then it’s not unlikely that Britain will do things its own way.
