Bashar al-Jaafari: Syria has not used Chemical Weapons

Bashar al-Jaafari

Syria’s Ambassador to the United Nations rejects chemical weapons allegations.

The known Syrian Ambassador to the United Nations (UN), Bashar al-Jaafari, has now raised his voice and spoke about the baseless allegations in terms of the alleged use of chemical weapons by the Syrian Army units near Damascus and the current war rhetoric and possible military intervention in Syria.

Of course, the Syrian Ambassador to the United Nations, Bashar al-Jaafari, has rejected those allegations by several Western governments, including Washington, London and Britain, and said that the units of the Syrian Army have not used chemical weapons.

The Syrian Ambassador al-Jaafari has then accused the foreign-supported terrorists on Syrian soil of using banned weapons (chemical weapons) in order to persuade foreign states to launch a military strike against Damascus.

According to the new statements by Bashar al-Jaafari, many facts tend to prove the innocence of the Syrian governance in Damascus, which has been the subject to false accusations. However, although one has to wait till the U.S. intelligence will publish its alleged evidence about the use of chemical weapons by the Syrian Army units against Syrian civilians, it is really to expect that the alleged evidence will not be convincing to 100 percent.

Further, it may not really matter whether the upcoming “evidence” from intelligence sources out of Washington will be convincing or not – in case the United States (US) will be successful in forming their alliance of war against Syria, nobody might be able to stop them from launching their airstrikes and military attack on Syria.

Syria’s Ambassador to the United Nations Bashar al-Jaafari further said in his statements from Wednesday that such facts approve that the foreign-backed terrorist groups have used chemical weapons in order to create a pretext for a military intervention and attack on Syria for several Western states.

The Syrian Ambassador said that “armed groups have used chemical weapons in order to bring about military intervention and aggression against Syria.”

According to the Ambassador to the United Nations (UN) from Syria, the West and Turkey have both “enabled terrorist groups to create a laboratory for chemical weapons on Turkish territory with materials provided by Turkey, Saudi Arabia and Qatar… and to bring these chemical weapons to Syria for use.”

After the recent increase of the war rhetoric against the Syrian government in Damascus, a new statement by the Syrian Ambassador to the United Nations, al-Jaafari, was already to expect. However, the rhetoric of war against Damascus gains a momentum and the events of the upcoming days are not foreseeable. However, the remarks by Dr. Bashar al-Jaafari are certainly true.

At least, several videos have already implied that the terrorists in Syria experiment with chemical substances. In addition, in case the Syrian Army units have used chemical weapons against Syrian civilians in Jobar (suburb of Damascus), it would certainly have been better when the soldiers of the national Syrian army had carried gas masks. However, the video recording by the team of ANNA-News suggest that neither the camera team of ANNA-News nor the Syrian soldiers have carried gas masks with them.
