Hervé Ladsous, the United Nations Under-Secretary-General for Peacekeeping Operations, stressed in a press conference today that terrorists are a fact in the separation area in the Golan Heights.
Ladsous, added that the terrorists ‘do go inside the area of separation’, ‘which is outside the mandate of UNDOF‘, the United Nations Disengagement Observer Force Zone.
‘UNDOF cannot stop them (the terrorists) and they are not armed’ concluded Ladsous.
Terrorists from a brigade under the FSA umbrella kidnapped 21 UNDOF observers on March 7, 2013 and released them after the entire world condemned the move, they thought they can topple the Syrian government in that move, or maybe it was an effort to force the ‘unarmed’ observers to leave the area in order to gain free movement into and out of Israel, their mother supporter.
