Ahmadinejad: Dialogue is Not Helpful in the Palestine Issue

Iran / Syria

It’s naïve to think that Palestine issue can be resolved by talks.

The outgoing President of Iran, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, said in a recent public statement that the question of Palestine is simultaneously the question of saving the humanity itself and that the so-called “Palestine issue” cannot be resolved by talks and dialogs. Thus, Ahmadinejad is convinced that a dialogue not helpful in the Palestine issue.

Mahmoud Ahmadinejad shares the opinion that it is just “naive” to believe that the issue of Palestine and the Palestinians can be resolved by talks.

The outgoing President of Iran, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, said these statements in his speech at the University of Tehran in the Friday Prayers while he addressed a huge crowd of worshippers in the University of Tehran. The remarks by Ahmadinejad about the “Palestine issue” were a part of his International Quds Day speech at the University of Tehran, Iran.

Mahmoud Ahmadinejad made it clear in his speech (source) that he believes that it would be just “naive” to think that the issue of Palestine and the Palestinians could be solved by “talks” and the partitioning of a territory.

One is able to assume that the new remarks by the outgoing Iranian President Ahmadinejad are an indirect response to the last statements by the U.S. Secretary of State, John Kerry, in terms of Palestine and Israel and the alleged beginning of new negotiations about the “Palestine issue”.

Of course, the words by John Kerry from Tuesday were just the typical hypocrisy of the U.S. administration in regards of Palestine and Israel. The U.S. Secretary of State, John Kerry, knows that the restart of the negotiations between Israel and Palestine are sponsored by the United States and that the Palestinian side has always a disadvantage when it comes to this – in contrast to the usual propaganda about the alleged priorities of persons such as Barack Obama.

U.S. Secretary of State, John Kerry, said on last Tuesday and thus, even before his statements that Washington supports the actions by the Egyptian army (military overthrow of Egyptian President Mohamed Morsi), that the two sides of the issue would either meet for the restart of a new process of negotiations in Israel or on the Palestinian territories.”

Of course, it is just understandable that, according to reports, many Palestinians are convinced that these new negotiation rounds are doomed to failure due to the situation that the Israeli regime and the U.S. administration in Washington alleged want an unconditionally surrender by the Palestinians – and in the case that Washington is able to achieve this and the Palestinian representatives give in to the United States, the world media will celebrate the victory of Barack Obama to solve the “Palestine issue”.

However, it is not to expect that the representatives of Palestine will give in to the United States. At least, not currently.

Iran’s outgoing President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad also stated in regards to Palestine and the new round of so-called negotiations between the Israeli regime and the representatives of Palestine that the regime of Israel “has been created for the final goal” – to gain the “dominance on the Middle East.”

Ahmadinejad finally noted that the supporters of the Israeli regime in the West are “sowing discord in Syria and Egypt” in order to achieve their final goal of gaining the dominance on the Middle East and to finally implement the so-called plan for a “new Middle East”.

The sowing of discord by the Western supports of the Israeli regime in Syria and Egypt is, according to Iran’s outgoing President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, in line with the efforts of Western governments to establish a new Middle East.
