Emma Cunliffe, Global Heritage Preservation Fellow and PhD researcher at Durham University, author of Damage to the Soul: Syria’s Cultural Heritage in Conflict says all have been affected. Parts of Aleppo, she thinks, are irreparably damaged.
UN envoy to Syria Lakhdar Ibrahimi in his September 2012 report stated: ‘Mosques, churches and prominent historical bazares in Homs have turned into rubble including Church of Umm Zinnar the first church in the world.’

The destruction of Buddhas of Bamiyan statues in the year 2001 by the Wahhabi Taliban just proves that this worldwide movement is just an anit-heritage fanatic evil movement used by NATO to justify invasion of countries NATO itself infest these countries with this epidemic under its different names: Al Qaeda, Nusra, FSA, Freedom Fighters, Rebels.. etc.
